Engaging our services

A binding engagement begins only when a written proposal or service agreement has been issued by us and accepted by you. That document — not this website — defines the scope of work, the deliverables, the fees, and the timeline for your matter. Where these terms and a signed service agreement conflict, the service agreement prevails.

Your responsibilities

• Provide accurate, complete and authentic documents and information. Government submissions rest on what you supply, and inaccurate or falsified material can invalidate an application.
• Respond to our requests for documents or signatures within the timeframes we communicate, since regulatory processes run on fixed windows.
• Notify us promptly of any change in your circumstances, corporate structure, or personnel that may affect an active application.
• Settle invoices in accordance with the payment terms in your service agreement.

Processing times and government decisions

We commit to managing your matter diligently and to the standards described in our service agreement. However, the issuance of permits, visas, licences and registrations is the decision of Indonesian government authorities. We do not control, and cannot guarantee, the outcome or the processing time of any government decision, nor changes in regulation, official fees, or administrative practice that occur during an engagement.

Fees and third-party charges

Our professional fees are separate from official government charges, notarial costs, and third-party disbursements, which are passed through at cost unless your agreement states otherwise. Official charges are set by the relevant authority and may change without notice.

Confidentiality

Information you share with us in the course of an engagement is treated as confidential and is disclosed only as described in our Privacy Policy or where compelled by law.

Recruitment services

Vacancies published on this website are mandates held on behalf of our client employers. Submitting an application does not create an employment relationship with Courtesy Agents Batam or with the client employer, and does not guarantee an interview or a placement. We present candidate profiles to a named employer only with the candidate’s agreement.

Intellectual property

Limitation of liability

Governing law
