Privacy Policy
Last updated: 9 September 2026
Courtesy Agents Batam (“we”, “us”, “our”) respects the privacy of every client, candidate and visitor. This policy explains what personal data we collect through https://courtesyagents.com, why we collect it, how long we keep it, and the rights you hold over it. It is written to align with Indonesian Law No. 27 of 2022 on Personal Data Protection (UU PDP).
Who is responsible for your data
Courtesy Agents Batam, registered in Indonesia under Business Identification Number (NIB) 9120108930489, with its office at The Central Business Block A1 No 1, Nagoya, Batam, Kepulauan Riau 29432, Indonesia, acts as the data controller for the personal data described in this policy. You can reach us at info@courtesyagents.com or +62 778 7367601 for any question relating to your data.
What we collect
We only collect data that you actively provide, plus limited technical data needed to keep the site working and measurable.
- Consultation enquiries. Your name, email address, telephone or WhatsApp number, the service you are interested in, and any details you write in the message field.
- Recruitment applications. If you apply for a role or join our talent pool, the contents of the CV and supporting documents you send us, which may include your identity card, certificates, Tax ID (NPWP) and expected salary.
- Client engagement data. Where you engage us for immigration or corporate services, the passport, visa, corporate and employment documents required by Indonesian authorities to complete that specific process.
- Technical data. Aggregated, non-identifying analytics such as pages visited, approximate region, device type and referral source. We do not use this data to build advertising profiles.
Why we use it
- To respond to your enquiry and prepare a proposal or quotation.
- To deliver the immigration, corporate, human capital, property or fleet services you have engaged us for.
- To submit applications to Indonesian government agencies where that submission is the service you asked us to perform.
- To assess your suitability for a role when you apply through our executive search practice, and to present your profile to a prospective employer only after you have agreed.
- To meet our own legal, tax and record-keeping obligations.
- To understand which parts of this website are useful, so we can improve them.
Legal basis
We process your data on the basis of your consent when you submit a form or send us documents; on the basis of contract performance once you engage our services; and on the basis of legal obligation where Indonesian law requires us to retain or submit records.
Who we share it with
We do not sell personal data, and we do not share it for third-party marketing. We disclose it only in these circumstances:
- Indonesian government bodies — including the Directorate General of Immigration, the Ministry of Manpower, BPJS and tax authorities — strictly where the submission is part of the service you engaged us to perform.
- Prospective employers, for recruitment candidates, and only with your prior agreement on a named-employer basis.
- Service providers that operate this website and process form submissions on our behalf under confidentiality obligations, including our hosting provider and our form-delivery provider.
- Professional advisers or authorities where we are legally compelled to disclose.
International transfer
The infrastructure that serves this website and delivers form submissions may process data on servers located outside Indonesia. Where that occurs we rely on providers that offer contractual data protection commitments at least equivalent to those required under UU PDP.
How long we keep it
- Enquiries that do not become engagements: up to 24 months, then deleted.
- Client engagement records: for the duration of the engagement and for as long afterwards as Indonesian corporate, immigration and tax law requires us to retain them.
- Recruitment applications: up to 24 months in our talent pool, unless you ask us to remove them sooner.
- Website analytics: retained in aggregated form only.
How we protect it
This site is served exclusively over encrypted HTTPS connections. Access to enquiry and client records is limited to the personnel who need it to perform the engagement, and every member of our team is bound by professional confidentiality obligations. Sensitive identity documents are handled through the channels agreed with you at the start of an engagement.
Your rights
Under UU PDP you may ask us to:
- Confirm what personal data we hold about you and obtain a copy of it.
- Correct data that is inaccurate or incomplete.
- Delete your data, where we are not legally required to retain it.
- Withdraw a consent you previously gave, without affecting processing already carried out.
- Object to, or ask us to restrict, a particular use of your data.
Write to info@courtesyagents.com and we will respond within 30 days. If you are not satisfied with our response you may escalate the matter to the competent Indonesian data protection authority.
Cookies
This website does not use advertising or cross-site tracking cookies. Where analytics are enabled, they are configured to measure aggregate traffic patterns only and not to identify individual visitors.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as our services or the applicable law change. The revision date at the top of this page always reflects the current version.
